Adeola Awe is an Afro-Caribbean American writer. She has a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. Awe is also a registered yoga teacher with a 200-hour (RYT) certification. Presently, she is a student in the Master of Arts in Professional Writing (MAPW) program at Kennesaw State University. She has two self-published poetry chapbooks: Say More With Less and VENomoUS. She considers herself a newfound creative with the aim of healing others through varied mediums.

VENomoUS, Adeola's second poetry collection, is a play on dichotomies, polarities, extremes, and any other applicable synonym. This work is comprised of 20 new poems and is joined with Say More With Less, her first collection. Strung together with clever rhyme, VENomoUS confronts the way we relate to Venusian luxury (e.g., money, love, people, indulgences, vices, structures, etc.) and the pain that ensues when pleasure wanes. Given that, at the time of this book's conception, we, collectively, are in the midst of Venus retrograde, this timely read can serve as a helpful aid. As a Venus-ruled Libra Sun, Adeola aims to deliver a message-free from obscurity-to whomever is open to receiving it.

Say More With Less is a collection of poetry that relies on the coupling of logic and intuitive knowing. This project details the death-rebirth journey, with emphasis given to interpersonal relationships, contractual agreements, media propaganda, shepherd-sheep dynamics, and the process of "coming to." Experiential wisdom informed the entirety of this work and provides grand realizations with the use of simplified complexity.
